Lighting design by MBLD

Radiant’s 3D LED Flex 40 IP20 System has been used to illuminate interior areas within the Katara Hotel in Lusail, Qatar. The project required both RGBW and white light ambient solutions to provide cove lighting around the circular ceiling details in the Katara Hall. The 3D LED Flex 40 System is flexible in 3 dimensions, allowing it to follow the curved architectural details perfectly. One version of the system is fitted with 12 x warm white mid-power LEDs with a diffusing film in each 100mm module. The other type is fitted with a cluster array of 4 x high-power RGBW LEDs with a colour mixing diffusing film. Both types have wider spaced modules.
